In the 1937 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Chenard & Walcker team entered their Z1 "Tank" model, designated as car number 41, driven by Frenchmen Yves Giraud-Cabantous and Charles Rigoulot.

Despite their efforts, the team was unable to complete the race, retiring after 151 laps due to mechanical issues. The 1937 race was notably challenging, with several teams facing difficulties; ultimately, the Bugatti team secured victory that year.

This item is brand new, in its original sleeve (including cellophane wrap), secured to its plinth and has never been opened even for photography purposes.
