In the 1984 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Cougar C02, fielded by Courage Compétition and bearing car number 13, was driven by Yves Courage, Michel Dubois, and John Jellinek.

This vehicle was powered by a Ford Cosworth DFL V8 engine with a capacity of 3298 cm³, featuring a 90° V8 configuration with a bore and stroke of 90 x 64.8 mm.

The engine utilised a Lucas injection system and ignition, producing approximately 490 horsepower.

Despite qualifying in 20th position with a lap time of 3:39.200, the team faced challenges during the race.

After completing 153 laps, the Cougar C02 was forced to retire due to an oil pump failure approximately 13 hours into the event.

This item will be brand new, in its original packaging as received from Spark Models, secured to its plinth and not opened even for photography purposes.
