Highly detailed resin Spark Model in 1/18 scale of the #6 1985 Lombard RAC Rally winning Lancia Delta S4, as driven by Henri Toivonen & Neil Wilson .

Information about the car:

The 1985 Lombard RAC Rally marked a watershed moment in rallying history, as it served as the World Rally Championship debut for the revolutionary Lancia Delta S4. Starting and finishing in Nottingham, the gruelling 65-stage event covered 550 competitive miles through some of Britain's most challenging terrain, taking competitors through the Midlands into Wales, up through Yorkshire, and into the Scottish Borders across four demanding days of competition.

The rally took place in bitterly cold conditions with ice-covered stages that would test both man and machine to their absolute limits, providing the perfect proving ground for Lancia's new technological marvel.

Henri Toivonen, paired with co-driver Neil Wilson, demonstrated the S4's superiority from the outset, with the Lancia duo claiming an remarkable 41 victories from the event's 63 special stages. The Finnish driver's performance was nothing short of masterful, showcasing the car's incredible speed and his own natural talent behind the wheel.

Despite suffering a dramatic roll onto the car's roof during one of the Scottish stages, Toivonen's determination and the S4's robust construction allowed him to continue, ultimately taking the lead when his teammate Markku Alén, who had been running first, wedged his identical Delta S4 in a ditch.

The victory was particularly sweet for Toivonen, as it marked his second World Rally Championship triumph, coming five years after his first win on the same RAC Rally in 1980, and represented the moment he had long awaited to finally compete in a four-wheel-drive Group B machine.

The item arriving will be brand new, directly shipped from Spark Models and will not be opened even for photography purposes.

In stock orders are processed and dispatched the same working day when ordered before 12:30PM. Please note, in exceptional circumstances or peak periods this may extend to 2 working days (excluding bank holidays and weekends). Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email containing your tracking number.

All orders are shipped in sturdy cardboard boxes with plenty of void fill to prevent excessive movement in transit and ensure the models arrive in pristine condition. Zero orders will be shipped in envelopes or jiffy bags.

Shipping for orders under £25 is £3.49.

All orders up to £49.99 are shipped via Royal Mail on a Tracked 48 Parcel service.

Orders from £50 and over are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD depending on the service selected when placing your order.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to Europe and Worldwide destinations via DHL Worldwide and Fedex.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@motorsportmodelshop.co.uk with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is new in box /unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the original shipping cost. We will not refund back the shipping cost of returning the models.
