Information about the car:
The Lola T280, chassis number HU1, participated in the 1973 24 Hours of Le Mans under the number 61.
The driving trio consisted of French drivers Daniel Rouveyran, Christian Mons, and Christian Ethuin.
Equipped with a Ford Cosworth DFV V8 engine, the car demonstrated competitive performance during the preliminary sessions, achieving the 11th position on the grid with a lap time of 3:50.700.
Unfortunately, the Lola T280 was forced to retire from the race due to mechanical issues, specifically a broken wheel and gearbox.
This item is brand new, in its original sleeve (including cellophane wrap), secured to its plinth and has not been opened even for photography purposes.
