The MG Metro 6R4 #12, driven by the talented Didier Auriol and his experienced co-driver Bernard Occelli in the 1986 Tour de Corse, represents one of the most distinctive and characterful machines from the legendary Group B era.

Built by Austin Rover as Britain's answer to the continental European rally supercars, the Metro 6R4 stood apart from its turbocharged rivals through its unique naturally aspirated 2,991cc V6 engine that produced a thunderous 380 horsepower.

Developed from Rover's proven all-aluminium V8 powerplant with two cylinders removed, this mid-mounted engine delivered its power through a sophisticated four-wheel-drive system, creating a machine that could accelerate from standstill to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds whilst producing one of the most distinctive and spine-tingling exhaust notes in motorsport history.

The item arriving will be brand new, directly shipped from Spark Models and will not be opened even for photography purposes.
