Highly detailed & now rather rare resin Spark 1/43 scale model of the #7 Joest Racing Porsche 956B which claimed victory at the 1986 1000KM of Fuji.

This item is brand new, in its original sleeve (including cellophane wrap), secured to its plinth and has never been opened even for photography purposes.

PLEASE NOTE: Despite the model being brand new, the rear metal etched diffuser has unfortunately detached from the car. Very easy fix, however the price has update to reflect this requirement.

The 1986 Fuji victory symbolised the end of an era for the Porsche 956, a car that had dominated endurance racing since its debut in 1982.

Its success at Fuji was a testament to its engineering excellence and the skill of the Joest Racing team.

Following this race, the focus shifted to newer prototypes, but the 956's legacy as a formidable competitor remained firmly established.
